Terms of use
1. Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may change these terms at any time; the version published when you use the site is the version that applies.
2. Purpose of this website
This site provides general information about Ironwood, our capabilities and our projects. It is marketing material. Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation or a representation that we will enter into a contract with you. No content on this site forms part of any agreement between you and Ironwood unless we expressly say so in a signed contract.
3. Accuracy, and why you must not rely on it
We try to keep the site accurate and current. Project values, durations, statistics, safety figures, employee numbers, certifications and backlog are indicative and are stated as at the date shown. They change.
Do not rely on anything on this site for a commercial, engineering, financial or safety decision. In particular:
- Project descriptions are summaries. They omit detail, and a summary of a project is not a statement of what we would do on yours.
- Safety, environmental and quality statistics describe our performance at a point in time and are not a prediction of future performance.
- Certifications, licences and registrations may lapse, be suspended or not apply in your jurisdiction. Confirm current status directly with us before relying on any of them.
- Capability statements about self-perform scope and equipment describe general practice, not a commitment on any particular project.
Information obtained through telephone calls to Ironwood, including calls handled by our automated receptionist, is taken in good faith but is not a contractual representation, quotation or binding instruction. Binding commitments are made only in a written document signed by an authorised officer of the company.
4. Bids, estimates and enquiries
Submitting an enquiry through this site or by telephone does not create a contract, an obligation to bid, or any exclusivity. We may decline any enquiry for any lawful reason, including capacity, licensing, geographic coverage, conflicts of interest or commercial fit.
Any estimate, budget or order-of-magnitude figure we provide is indicative and subject to written confirmation following a full review of documents, site conditions and commercial terms. Figures are stated exclusive of taxes and duties unless expressly stated otherwise.
5. Intellectual property
The content of this site, text, layout, design system, illustrations, diagrams, logotypes and source code, is owned by Ironwood or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial purposes, and may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to this site.
You may not, without our prior written consent: reproduce substantial parts of the site; use our name, logo or trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership; frame the site within another site; use automated tools to harvest content or contact data at scale; or use site content to train or develop machine learning models.
Requests for permission, including for press and academic use, should go to media@ironwoodgroups.com. We usually say yes.
6. Trade marks and third parties
Names of clients, agencies, certifications, manufacturers, standards bodies and other organisations appear on this site for factual identification only. They remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of Ironwood by those organisations, nor of them by Ironwood, except where we state that an owner has agreed to act as a reference.
This site may link to third-party sites. We link to them because they are useful; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
7. Availability and changes
We provide this site on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including the automated telephone receptionist service, without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the site is free of errors or harmful components, although we take reasonable steps to keep it secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ironwood is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, contract, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of this site or reliance on its content. Our total liability arising out of this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Sites, plant and third-party property
Access to any Ironwood project site, yard, workshop or office is controlled and subject to mandatory induction, personal protective equipment and site rules. Nothing on this website grants you permission to enter. Approaching an active construction site without authorisation is dangerous and unlawful in many jurisdictions.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data, to transmit malicious code, or to submit anything unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringing. We may block access from sources that breach this section and may report suspected offences to law enforcement.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information, including telephone recordings and transcripts, is described in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
12. Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. Our commitments and how to report a problem are set out on the accessibility page.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts sitting in Denver, Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from your use of this site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
Contracts for construction work or the supply of goods and services are governed by the terms of the specific contract, not by these website terms.
