Four markets

We go where the constraints are difficult.

Remoteness, altitude, weather windows, active operations, federal audit. Difficulty is the filter. If a project is straightforward, a dozen good contractors can price it, and the difference between us narrows to something that is worth less to you than a lower number.

Where we choose to compete

Discipline about scope is a service in itself.

We turn down more work than we take. A contractor who pursues everything ends up with crews spread across six states, a superintendent who has never seen the site, and a submittal log three weeks behind. We would rather be the second-best bid on a job we understand than the low bid on a job we do not.

Practically, that means four markets, four geographies and a hard limit on how much work any one office will hold. When we reach that limit we will tell you, and we will tell you who else to call.

Market 01

Global Infrastructure

We do not fly in, build and leave. Our international work runs through long-standing joint ventures and local suppliers who stay on the ground after we demobilise, which is the only version of this that survives contact with a host government.

Cross-border delivery through in-country partnerships we have held for over a decade.

Representative scope

  • Active delivery in the United States, Canada, Chile and Australia
  • Local content, transfer pricing and customs compliance built into the commercial model
  • Bilingual field supervision and document control
  • ITAR-aware supply chain for controlled programmes
  • International bonding via A+ XV rated sureties

South AmericaChile and Peru, mining and mineral processing through Andean joint venture.
Asia PacificAustralia, infrastructure and resources delivery partnership in Western Australia.

Market 02

Energy

Whether it is a 230 kV substation, a 380 MW pumped storage scheme or the balance-of-plant on a solar array, the constraint is almost never the equipment, it is outage windows, interconnection schedules and constructability. That is our discipline.

Generation, transmission, midstream and renewable balance-of-plant for investor-owned utilities.

Representative scope

  • Substation and switchyard construction up to 500 kV
  • Transmission line rebuild, reconductor and greenfield
  • Pumped storage, hydro and gas-turbine balance-of-plant
  • Midstream gathering, compression and processing
  • Utility-scale solar and BESS civil and electrical works
  • Outage and energisation sequencing under permit

Where we deliver it

MidstreamGathering systems, compression stations and processing plants.
RenewablesSolar, BESS and wind balance-of-plant, civil and electrical.

Market 03

Government Contracting

Public money comes with public scrutiny. Our accounting, compliance and reporting systems are built for DCAA review, not retrofitted for it after an audit letter arrives.

Federal, state and municipal programmes of record, delivered under audit.

Market 04

Mining & Minerals

Mineral extraction runs on a spreadsheet that never stops moving. We staff to the ore body, not to the contract year, and we take the reclamation obligation as seriously as the production one.

Development, contract mining, tailings and closure across coal, copper and industrial minerals.

International delivery

How we work outside the United States.

Cross-border contracting fails on three things: local content requirements, currency and tax structuring, and labour rules nobody read until mobilisation. We address all three before the bid, not after the award.

Structure

In-country joint ventures

We deliver through joint ventures and partnerships we have held since 2014, with local partners holding equity and operational responsibility. It is slower to set up and considerably more durable than flying a crew in.

Ability to perform

It can be built where it sits

Concrete is poured on the site it is specified for. We verify that the materials, plant, skills and labour are genuinely available within economic haulage distance before we commit to a method, not after.

Workforce

We do not fly in unskilled labour

Expatriate staff fill supervision, engineering and safety roles only. Craft is local wherever we are legally permitted to hire it, which is both the right thing to do and the only way to build a project you can leave behind.

Compliance

ITAR-aware supply chain

Controlled technology, export licensing and deemed-export screening are handled by a dedicated compliance function. We have walked away from work where the export position could not be made clean.

Commercial

Currency and tax disclosed

Transfer pricing, customs treatment and FX exposure are set out in the proposal, with the party holding each risk named. We do not bury FX in a contingency line and call it a commercial model.

Assurance

One reporting standard

Every international project reports into the same cost, schedule and safety system as our US work, on the same weekly cadence, in English, in the same format. The owner sees one version of the truth.
